“This one was a chore to get started with server/connection problems all over. Once it finally DID get under way, it was all Rat all the time. He was breaking my armor left and right and generally running circles around me. That's to be expected with Gutters but you'd expect Dwarves to hurt Rats a lot.....not here. He scored easy on turn 3 but had to use his apoth on a Super Gutter that failed a dodge and DIED. Wow. I managed to score on turn 8, but lost my only useful Slayer to a worthless Linerat. Apoth decided he wasn't worth the trouble and failed.

Second half swung totally the other way. I starting KOing Rats everywhere and they didn't return for a long time. Then the pain started as another Rat lost his life on a hit. (The THIRD death of his was on a failed GFI, I think) I muffed the kickoff and he dunked it on me, but managed to score myself at the end to force OT.

OT was pretty much whoever won the toss won the game. He only had 8 players to stop Dwarves (not easy) and I only had 10, so stopping 2 Gutters is next to impossible.....I won the toss. After a LONG grind I score on turn 24. He ALMOST got the combo-push 1-turn-score on his last turn, but his accurate Thrower muffed the toss. WHEW!!! I woulda been upset then. haha
