Everyone loves the underdog. With that in mind the Stags were daunted by the prospect of this match. Handicaps were sweet for the Greenbacks: The Wardancer was able to smuggle his knuckledusters onto the pitch. The tree spent all night at the local Starbucks until he was hopped up and buzzing on the caffeine (the bugger went on to make every take root roll as well). The catcher received a visit from his old buddy Berry B and used some “ointment” before the match (+ST). Hey every elf is doing it right? Is it any wonder the Stags’ star WD pretended to aggravate his old back injury before the match? Even with this shaky start, the Stags still had the Greenbacks outgunned from the opening kickoff. Fortunately, the Stags apothecary avoided the only serious injury. Thanks to Pisces for a great game and best of luck in the league!
