“Very rough, intense matchup, where no quarter was asked, and none offered. Both sides came out firing, and it was just unfortunately a sad fact that av 7 rat armor is inherently weaker than av 8 elf armor. Still, it was a rather close game, if not for the interception late first half he was able to convert into what would ultimately be the game-winning touchdown difference.

Man, playing against that advanced a dark elf team is NOT fun! And the handicaps I got were absolutely useless--a virus against a team without a single niggled player (!!!), half his FF for kickoff results (big wow), and I forget the other one, maybe Bribe the Ref, which does me absolutely no good. Even if I were a fouler, first a) I have to knock him over (barely able to this game) and b) have enough rats to make the foul worth an attempt (he solved that situation nicely).

Just not the best performance. However, I have to say I'm proud of my boys, as we stood up to a MUCH better team and came very close to pulling off the upset win. Had a few more rats survived the game intact, or if our super-star Sabre hadn't niggled out before the game began, it could've been a very different story. As it was we lost the game, I lost 3 players (counting my thrower who aged a niggle at 16 spp), lost fans, and got all of 20k in payment. Our once glorious FF 24 has become a rather normal looking 18, and that's really more of a pisser than anything. *sigh* Ah, well, it was fun.”
