Well, that was nothing like this game, which was blood bowl between the Undead and Orcs. No sooner had the first kick been made than the fighting started, with a particularly brutal lineman headbuting 'Stones' smashing him to pieces. We think we put him back correctly, but he's been a bit creaky ever since. The first half was just a scrap. The only failure more spectacular than the ball's inability to be more than 2 squares from the scrimmage line, was the ability of either side to hurt each other.

And believe me they tried!

Halfway through the second half, it took a particularly astute ghoul by the name of Bob to realise that the ref had not forgotten to bring a ball along. And up he did scarper. Of course he thought it was a particularly valuable relic, and so it was sheer blind luck that caused him to decide to run for it in the direction of the opponent's line. This sparked a full undead rout, chased by the Orcs, who were getting quite miffed that the things they were hitting wouldn't stay dead.”
