The Fighting Hellbowl was all it was supposed to be. A tight game up until the very end, edgy and excting, and violent, too.

This was Turbo Tirane's last game, as his niggling injury from a previous aging roll forced his retirement afterwards. Another catcher was hired right away, but Turbo Tirane will never be replaced.

Sweetness Schuster won my MVP award, despite having dropped two passes, including a desperation turn eight pass that, with a lot of luck, would have tied the game. This also puts him at 75 SPPs, which is scary.

Thanks for the game, JanMattys. It was a good time. The Hellbees, though, will be looking for revenge someday.

Crazy game indeed. I twice fumbled an handoff (with rr), twice failed a pick up, and went REAL close to tie a game that I could have secured with a 2-0 in the first half. The Hellfishes had some scary aging rolls ahead, so I preferred to share spps with a rookie blitzer. And that made all the difference.

The Hellfishes were swift to capitalize when the throwers of the Hellbees dropped the ball. Giacomo was a constant threat among the opponent's lines, and he twice caught a passage by Roberto "Ròzzo" Fazio scoring one and trying an handoff for the second (bad choice the last one).
The Hellbees were ready to get the ball back and tie the score in the last turn first half, closing it 1-1.

The second drive saw both teams fighting for the ball, but the Hellfishes dominated the field thanks to the many KOs and casualties inflicted. Superior in number, my boys retrieved the ball in turn 7 and scored for the final 2-1.

Tbh, djbigjake probably deserved a draw.

Post-match sequence was great. After Claudio and Stefano, Giacomo passed without aging the 51 spss and rolled a double: now he is Dauntless, yay!
Alessandro, after failing two passes and a very crucial pick up managed to bribe the judges, thus gaining the MVP and passing the 6spps mark. He rolled a double and got Strong Arm. Let's hope he will soon learn not to break under pression.

Good game.
Rematch anytime, djbigjake!
