“The Denizens began in a rather defensive offense position and took the whole starting turn to set up a proper drive. Their efforts where helped a lot by the Plagues Rat Ogre who knocked himself silly on turn one. He proceeded to do so twice more during the game just like that and three times sitting in a Wild Animal trap. Magragt Garlick even managed to Seriously injure the beast on a Block/Pow result which send her off her feet but still ended the Plagues turn.
This helped to prevent the Plague from drawing in half one and a failed GFI which knocked the Gutter runner down early in the second half lead to some scrambling for the ball near the Denizens endzone. Finally Ponder Stibbons managed to grap the ball and send it downfield to his waiting team mates who took the rest of half two to score, leaving the rats in more or less hot pursuit.
Thanks for a game and good luck for your Rat Ogre, Azrahn ;)”
