“Good match. S and D were in it against a superior team. Ramtut got his licks in, we BH'ed the mino on a foul, and we killed a big time blitzer. S and D's coach really s*** the bed late in the 2nd half, but such is life. There's always something to learn from a quality opponent, late fouling notwithstanding.”

#4 Spirit – Dead (RIP)
“Late fouling referred to was a frustration foul in spite, totally out of character of this coach and immediately regretted. I'm just suffering from severe lack of sleep after the birth of a newborn, and then to see my blodge/SF/guard/+ma blitzer die from a 1d lucky POW by a tackle-less wolf in turn 7 after a long, hard fought match...I lost my cool. Can't even remember who I saved from death earlier at the hands of Ramtut, but I'll take this as a lesson...NO lineman is every worth more than a blitzer, EVER!!!
Turn 1 first half he gets the ref, and his very first foul in turn 1 was a one-assist foul on my mino, who gets badly hurt as a result. In retaliation, I gang-foul (at least 5 assists) Ramtut...stun. Fine, gang-foul a golem...stun. Gang-foul his str 5 (after drugs) ghoul...stun. Gang-foul his wolf...stun. Nuffle was trying to tell me something, I just know it... However, my opponent got shafted with his scoring attempt, after some brilliant dodging he fails a quick pass for the score...
Second half his str 5 ghoul takes hold of a touchback kick, and the slow march of doom begins, destroying a couple norsemen along the way. However, Nuffle is fickle, and this half my fouls and blocks actually HURT...steadily I reduced his numbers on-pitch, until it was 8 norse vs 2 golems (which my str 4 lineman kept occupied), a zombie, one wight, two ghouls (including mr str 5) and a lone wolf. He tried to stall a touch, trusting in his str 5 blodge to protect him. However, what a norseman can't take down himself, he gets 3 or 4 buddies to help and THEN he takes it down! Guard was instrumental here, was were the cas dice at the end, stopping his drive and then passing forward to send the ball the other way. It was a glorious finish...up until absolute disaster struck in his wolf's claws on my absolute best blitzer. Probably never see his like again...he had legend written all over him...rest in pieces, Spirit...
