“Screwed by the dice. My failed almost nothing the whole match. He rolled pows and dodges everywhere. The only major bad luck he had was his Witch dying early (not apothed as she had a niggle) and his Str4 AG5 Leaper rolling a skull on a blitz and badly hurting himself. As it turned out, he did not need to bust my cage after all...

The reason being that I had a certain score with my Thrower, but chose instead to hand off to my 14 SPP Lino to skill him up. 3+ roll with RR failed and the ball spilt free into a spot that favored my opponent more than me and sure enough, he recovered and scored on me so instead of a 1-1 half, I was down 0-2 at half time.

To make things really bad, the same player I needed to skill up for the Grotty Little Tournament was badly hurt the very next turn he failed to catch the ball and score. Both the score and any chance to skill up this game (bar a 1 in 15 MVP) gone in the space of a minute!!!

The game was pretty much over then baring some really lucky rolls for me, or some unlucky rolls for my opponent. See his 63% luck meter reading, it didn't happen LOL.

Overall, a bad outcome with FF loss as well. I just got the rough end of the dice when it mattered most this time. All part of the ride. My opponent did play well and was unlucky to lose a FF from a well played victory.
