Second game for the children of Nurgle... and more lessons to be learned:

1. Papa Nurgle loves his children. Not that we doubted it, but it's always nice to know... it gives you that warm, fuzzy feeling :)

2. When you realize point #1, you will see the results: a new cas for the beast, and some incredible injury rolls: in the first 4 turns, 1 MNG and 3 KO helped a LOT with my offensive drive.

3. But despite point #2, humility is always important. If you believe in yourself you can accomplish great deeds just like Blizzix did, playing all the game in numerical inferiority but hanging on to the game no matter what. Kudos to him... learn the lesson, oh my players!

Blizzix has been a nice opponent, and was rewarded with his TD for the pain he had to endure throughout the game. Good luck in the future.

Thx Garaygos for the kind commentary:-)

Yes, it was a bit hard to endure. You expect to get the armor broken with a av7 team, but if you try to keep your guys away to minimize block opportunities to one or two and still lose a guy per round, it becomes a little bit tough to bear. That, in combination with the Beast, passing Really Stupid roll after Really Stupid roll (did it fail one in the whole match?) and therefore keeping the ball carrier almost untouchable for most of the first half, made the 1:0 in the first half inevitable.

I have to confess that after the second blitzer went out, I did not believe at all, that there might be anyway to score with the two guy disadvantage in half 2. So I still canĀ“t figure out, how, after all the bad rolls in that game, that "dicing extravaganza" in turn 8 2nd half worked out. I needed:
A 1d block. Yepp.
A dodge for the blitz. Yepp.
1d blitz. Yepp.
Another dodge to get to the ball with lino. Yepp.
A pickup with that lino. Yepp.
Two gfi. Yepp. Yepp.
And the catcher had to catch the hand off. Yepp.

How the hell did that work out (without needing a rr), after almost everything else failed??? Someone explain this game to me please;-)

Anyway have to say that Garaygos made the game worth while as he did not rub salt into the first-half-av7=no armor at all-malaise-wound, and did not get even upset after my dorks snapped away a sure victory in the final seconds.

Once again. Thx for the game.
