“The death-loving 'dark elves' continue their glorious march onward, making an impressive 1/7 TTM and suffering two Dwarf two turn tds in the process.

With our beloved Crazy Billy BH'd in the first turn, it was always going to be tough. Lacking any skills the boys gave it their best shot, but it wasn't to be.

We snatched the ball on defense but an early chance to take the lead died after a 3+ (reroll) dodge failed, Ko-ing the ball carrier, and the Lords were able to flee to the far side of the pitch. As the Har Ganeth dwindled, the four remaining Dar Elves failed to get close to stopping the score.

1-0 in turn 8 and we went TTM, but it was not to be, the landing roll failing.

From 7 KO's we got two players from two rolls (cowards, but Iblame them not) and the second half was tough. A Blitz! and a haze of faiiled TTM gave the ball to the Lords of Stuff, and once again they were able to score. By turn 2 we were 2-0 down.

Fout more turns saw three more TTMs fail, but the fourth, after some nice blitzing, gave us a turn 7 equaliser.

It was all to play for, and we went for it, but a very impressive pick-up, pass, and hand-off (these dwarves are surprisingly good with the ball - they just wouldn't drop it), followed by two GFIs - put them in sight of the score. Our 3dblock came up skull, skull, skull/pow, and it was all over, the Lords made that last GFI, and 3-1 it was.

The deaths don't hurt the mighty Dar Elves, but losing 3-1 certainly does. A shameful day in Har Ganeth (despite our 2 cas). ”
