“This match was humorous.
I was a bit concerned because he had a witch and 2 blitzers, one of them with blodge, and I had a nearly rookie team with no dodge at all.
I started out with a total brain fade and executed what was surely the worst drive of my bloodbowl career.
He took the ball from me easily (as he should have, I mean it was pathetic, really) and scored to go up 1-0.
The game progressed and we managed to score, then steal the ball and had it near his endzone on turn 14. We deliberated for a bit, but I decided I had to score rather than stall as his witch was roaming nearby and he had shown a predilection for attempting and making some crazy dodging blitzes with her. If she got the ball, I night not be able to bring her down without tackle. So I scored and hoped for the best.
He ran some folks downfield to set up for a passing td next turn.
I surrounded him pretty well, holding back one player to position after my blitz. Of course I reroll into double skulls on that blitz. Not the worst, I think, I still have a reasonable defense. No good. He one-die blocks, passes, catches, hands off in a TZ all with no reroll. Then its a quick dodge into 3 or 4 TZs and another dodge and a GFI, all with no rerolls, and its a TD to tie the score.
Crap, I think to myself.
So I line it up to try the mighty 4 space push with ny blitzer. I actually manage to get him up field 4 spaces, still have a reroll handy. Much to my chagrin, however, I realize that I have pushed him out of passing range and have no relay man available. (it was a deep kick, back to my endline). 2-2 tie. Bah!
