#16 Seerkit – Smashed Knee (NI)
WOW, what a game!

Qarhwok managed to overcome the pain today, and made key blocks where they most defininitely counted.

Kick-off results went Xxirr's way for sure, getting a Blitz! on the first, and a Perfect Defense on the second.

4 CW's saw plenty of carnage come our way, again stacking the KO'd and Casualty section of the dugout with rat after rat.

The first half was all House Shackord, and they scored very easily. Solid attacking from the Beastmen (horns...grrrrr) and the Warriors saw the Scurriers spend more time prone or stunned than they did actually standing!!!!.

The second half saw the Scurriers receive the kick (AFTER the Perfect Defense of course) and Zengleek left his hands on the sideline and managed to drop the catch after being given a quick pass.....

The ball was deep in my half, and Warriors and Beastmen were storming their way through the offensive line.....right at the backfield players.

The rats kind of dispersed at the sight of this, leaving Xxirr enough space to pick up the ball with a Warrior and start his own offensive drive. Mekort was way, way waaaaaay down in the Shackord's own half, so had to run all the way back to give assistance. A few turns after the Warrior picked the ball up, Zengleek made a perfect gap to to the ball Carrier (and got a cas to boot!), which Qarhwok seized the opportunity and Blitzed the Warrior, knocking the ball loose in the process.

The ball ended up in such a position that a Warrior was standing guard over it, so Qarhwok had to break away from his defenders and Blitz the Warrior (gaining a Cas in the process who was saved by the Apo)...the ball was in the open.

Some fancy footwork by Zengleek saw him dodge away, pick up the ball, then it was off to the races for the House to catch up with him. Mekort was also wide open, so he headed upfield to assist in any blocks Zengleek might need.

Zengleek managed to get himself one square away from the endzone and no-one was going to catch him in time, especially since Qarhwok blitzed the nearest player (again managing to break free from his defenders), so that Zengleek had a free run to score.

That was the Scurriers' last turn, meaning the game was tied at 1 a piece.

Xxirr was an excellent coach and great fun to play against, and knew how to work his Chaos team very well.

I look forward to our future matches! :D
