“Tree-mendous started this game just looking for a nice recovery game and when Virgin Territory got the ref for both halves I could only cross my fingers and hope for the best.
TM started the game with "I'm the greatest" and "doom and gloom" handicaps which was painful along with a missing lineman and facing a full squad from VT.
VT took an early lead, which was answered straight back from TM. VT attacks and following a fumble of the ball they lost it giving TM a chance to take the lead. TM's thrower gets the ball and when blitzed uses the opportunity to dump off the ball on the TD line, with a catcher to pick up the ball for a TD the following turn.
This then causes the VT coach VinnieSpleenmasher to grumble, whinge and complain stating, "the game is sooo broken." I think this may well be down to losing a TD and eventually the game?
2-1 to TM at half time with TM to receive the kickoff. Again VT get the ref and following Vinnie's whinging I can expect some bad fouls. To be fair Vinnie didn't foul every turn, but he did foul my thrower in the last turn for no reason, proving he's a bad loser.
Final score ended up as 3-1 to TM and fortunately nothing more than the 3 BH's shown above. Vinnie was unlucky with his 0 spp lineman tripping on a double 1 and dying as he'd used apoth. Condolences to his family. :-) Luck though (as shown above) was pretty even. Vinnie will whinge about it being one sided, (maybe he means the skill) but both teams had bad luck at different times. I think its easier for some coaches to only remember their own luck.
Overall not too bad a game. Check out the replay if you want to see for yourselves. It has no chat from the coaches so don't worry about all the moaning about, "the dump off rules so unfair" from Vinnie.”
