This was the Iron Guards first match in the FUMBBL Cup, and Nuffle gave them their hands full.

Orcus's Minions really looked scary before the match. Lots of piling on, a dirty player and a chainsaw were just the top of the iceberg. This amount of brute strength forced the Iron Guards to use outside assistance for the very first time, and they hired star player Grim Ironjaw and rookie Emerus Warcrown for the match.

The Minions quickly lived up to their potential to, forcing the Iron Guards apothecary out on the field on the very first turn in an attempt to save Nunima Orc-Eater from permanent harm.

Somehow the dwarves not only managed to survive the rest of the first half, but they also put up pressure enough on the orcs and stopped them from scoring.

For the second half the dwarves were on the offense, and helped by the fact that they got the ref (and finally used that advantage) they rapidly started knocking out orcs. After some serious orc bashing the Iron Guards finally scored on their last turn (they really didn't dare to do it earlier, there were way to many orcs wanting to come back on the pitch and bash dwarves instead).

Thanks for a funny bashing game Grockith, and better luck next time!
