First game of the <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=group&op=view&group=2591">SUMMER CRUNCH 2005"</a> turnament. The necros had a tough task against them, an ogre team named No Silly Ogres!

The game started of with the Ogres kicking, and the necros went on the offence by running down the pitch and trying to kick the only gobboass on the ogreteam =)..

And the start wasnt the best, the gobbos ass prooved to be hardkicked and the ogres started to intercept the passing game of the necros totally unprovoced. That wasnt appriciated by Troim, the #1 passer/ballhandler of the necros.. So he felt he had to kick a little ogreass. And he did, knocking down the interceptor with a -2 dice! After that the necros managed to scoore the 1-0 td after a little slugging vs the ogres.

The second half was started without the gobbo, he got banned from the game for a little rough play..or he just didnt wanna stick around since he would have a revengefull wolf after him the entire second half =)..

Anyways, the entire second half was just filled with stupid ogres and no ballhandlign skills from any of the teams..

A good hard game, won by the necros due to a little better ballhandling skills and the ogres stupidity =). We wish the Ogres and DonKosak all the best!

After nearly half a year’s break from the arenas of blood and bowl the ogres of No Silly Ogres were looking forward to the match against some foulsmelling necromancer pets in the Summercrunch 2005 tourney.
The tyres of Gaarrgghh’s wheelchair had been pumped and the axles greased, and Wuurrgghh having fought his arthritis with plenty of painkillers was ready to be The Wheelchairpusher of Doom. Unfortunately the captain and leader of the team - Glog - had forgotten, that he was supposed to act like a captain, and as he realized that he was to play against wolves he uttered the following: “I no like play ugly ugly ‘ponents widda teeth” and he remained on the bench through the whole match.

The Mysticles started their drive and sent roaming wolves and ghouls deep in the backfield of No Silly Ogres. Luckily Skrat proved to be anything but silly and as the starwight Troim threw the ball Skrat woke up from his deep ponderings on whether to move the left or right foot first. He yawned, stretched his arms and much to his own surprise he accidentally caught the ball! Great was the joy of coach DonKosak. Now the ogres were prove to the world, that they ought to be feared and not laughed at. Skrat and three teammates trundled downfield but suddenly Troim was amidst them, he managed to knock Skrat over and the ball was loose again. After some wonderful smashing and bashing Troim got the ball and threw a long bomb to Chokolata who was waiting in the endzone. 1-0 for the Mysticles.

After the kickoff Jim the gobbo quickly got the ball and prepared for Flog to throw him as far downfield as possible - a quick equalizer before the second half would be nice. Unfortunately Flog decided that picking his nose was more important than the throwing of Jim and this slight delay offered Mysticles the possibility to put a tacklezone on Jim. After some serious screaming by coach DonKosak Flog finished the excavation of his nostrils, but all in vain. Despite the amount of hours used on passing training in the nearby quarry he wasn’t able to throw Jim at all and the goblin fell to the ground. This exasperated Jim who finished the half by kicking Sheflis the flesh golem in the (borrowed) kidneys, knockouting him, getting seen by the ref, arguing in vain, getting send off and seeing Sheflis waking up for the second half. What a misery...
It seemed that the 10 fans of No Silly Ogres are mostly goblins because after Jim’s early farewell they decided to slug it out with the ref and he decided, that he would look the other way should one of the remaining ogres accidentally stomp on one of the undead. This didn’t happen however, and the ref’s missing attention proved to be worthless during the rest of the match.

Second half saw the ogres - now without gobbos at all - form a nice but loose cage around Flog holding the ball. As there were no gobbos ready to catch any passes Flog decided, that this was not the day to expand his impressive record of 13 completions and he stayed in the loose cage ready to run for the endzone. But alas, loose cages are what Troim eats for dinner, he broke in and stripped the ball out of Flogs shaking hands. The scuffle continued, and as neither the ogres nor the undead were able to get hold of the ball in more than a few seconds before losing it again the match ended with a humiliating defeat for the ogres.

Coach DonKosak moaned a bit after the match feeling that Nuffle ought to curse him and the team a little less in the next match. The necromancer dadoz coaching the Mysticles however was nice and fun to chat with, and we wish them all the best in the rest of Summercrunch 2005.
