“Considering the two teams that played and the fact that the game went to overtime, the low amount of casualties was a bit surprising, but none of the coaches really complained about that part.
The first half belonged mostly to the Boys. They scored two quick TDs taking advantage of some confusion in the ranks of the Cleavers. The cleavers came to their senses by the closing of the first half and managed to sneak in a TD.
In the second half the Cleavers were more in control and managed to tie the game and send it to over time.
During overtime the ball was changing hands and was being knocked around in the middle of the field, until Zordok, finally mananged to gain control of it and run almost unhindered towards the Boys' end zone. A lone hobgoblin managed to catch up with him , but the surprisingly quick dwarf dodged away to score the 3rd and winning TD for the Cleavers just mere seconds before the buzzer signaled the end of the game.
Great sportsmanship was shown by Mase, the coach of Borkil and the Boys, despite the obvious disappointment of losing such a close match.”
