“In Short: CRAAAAAZY GAME

Bit longer: In the first half the teams started to bash at each other right away and much to my dismay I lost a st 4 blitzer very early in the game due to a failed apothecary. While being able to seriously hinder the Khemri at their running game at first and even knocking the ball carrier down, the orcs could do naught in order to prevent a risky pickup attempt and a consecutive touchdown in the very last of the Khemri turns. Angered by their cruel fate, the last thing that the orcs did before halftime is to try and hurt the remaining mummies, that were set up on the LoS (one had been taken care of by the green raiders) They failed yet again.

Half 2 started with orcs in possession, thanks to the inaccurracy of the clumsy skeleton that kicked the ball. Seeing more chances in a faster paced style, the orcs cunningly saw a gap in the obviously weak undead defense, passing and running to a touchdown in turn 2, making the score 1-1.

With their new found lust for glory the vile orcs rejoiced even more as the kick off result sent a skeleton right to the bench (regenerated) and the ball dangerously close to the orc defense line, thanks to another marvellous kick by Loryn, the orc thrower. It really seemed like the worst case scenario for the Khemri and thus the orcs were able to secure the ball shortly afterwards, when the nervous Khemri began taking chances - and - making mistakes. Smaller brawls started all across the field, and the orcs maintained control of the ball by bravely keeping all mummies away from their offensive line. Fast runner Raleigh even had the chance to score but - much to the orc's dismay - decided to wait another turn in order to both keep the pressure on the enemy coach (who had more RRs at that time) and pressure _off_ the orc defense that would be dealing with the khemri team later. Seconds later, he was very surprised to see one of his bony adversaries show an astounding display of agility (dodged 5+,5+, 4+ if you have to know) and bravery, when said skeleton blitzer lived up to his position and blitzed him all alone, knocking him down and leaving the ball unattended again. The orcs managed to get a hold of it shortly thereafter but _again_ a single khemri skeleton - a lineman this time - broke free of his orc guardian and managed not only to knock down the orc ballcarrier, but to even pick up the ball in the same turn. His team being devastated by the turn of events, orc coach Parallax shoutet at the top of his lungs for the orcs to at least keep the score as is and - not surprinsingly - they managed just that.

People, seriously, keep in mind: Don't stall unless there is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY (too little MA) your opponent will retrieve the ball, even if the chances are totally low!
