I must have blitzed his ball carrier with relative success at least 6 or 7 times. On several occasions, I was close to stealing the ball (or even had the ball) and scoring against his plays, and on each one Nuffle nuffled me. On the occasions he required a decent block and especially the one at the end of the first half for his equaliser, he got nice rolls, and it was all so easy. There was no better example than the way the match ended. I smashed his rather porous defense, a black orc caught the rebound. I had but 2 people to move out the way for a certain score. Push/skull, push/skull, double skull-pow on the blockless black orc. Then he snatches the ball and runs off. I catch up for a 2d blitz to seal a draw, but push/skull. That was the story of the entire game for me.

I scored in 2 turns. He scored twice in 14. Unfortunately that's the way the cookie crumbles. I was probably better off opening up for his first TD so I could have taken a half-time 2-1 lead.

A bad coach usually blames luck, but really this was a ludicrously undeserved loss and compounded with yet another fan factor decrease (which seems to happen every time I lose these days, whilst it rarely seems to go up with a victory). On a normal day this would have been a 3-0 victory.

Add to that his annoying armour/injury rolling (1 death, 1 si, 2 bh off relatively little blocking) - it wasn't the guys with mb that did any damage - and all in all I'm not a happy bunny.”
