Another loss for Veronica Mars, the second in a row. I have to say I had a bad feeling about the game when I got a double skulls rerolled to double skulls on the first turn of the game. Just as I thought, I got 4 double skulls all in all during the first half, one of which BH'd my witch elf. Oh, I also failed a crucial GFI to score, which turned a potential 2-1 lead into 1-2. To be fair, I did cause two casualties myself so it wasn't all one-sided.

The second half was close, what with me having the numerical advantage, but my total inability to knock an elf catcher down despite 5 or so attempts meant that a tie was out of the question. Anaximandros did play very well throughout the game, but I felt somewhat unlucky to be the loser in this one.

Anyway, I got a good cash roll and enough money for a second witch elf. I'll keep both my nigglers for at least one game since dropping one wouldn't get me any extra winnings and they make fine linebait.

5 days, 8 hrs, 9 mins, 17 secs until the start of the second season of Veronica Mars (Wednesdays at 9/8c on UPN).
