Finally Slaughterhouse5000 faced a foe at their own level, for what promised to be a tough fought match for both teams!

The crippling started fast and early, with BOTH teams having a key niggling fail to make the match. Rhazhul’s Judgement allowed their RSC Blodger to miss the match in order that the team doctor was available to counter SlaughterHouse’s Dirty Players…but the SlaughterHouse medic cajoled the hulking Troll to take to the pitch: “A TROLL suffering from a niggling injury? That’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard! Your body regenerates for Nuffle’s sake!!”

SlaughterHouse won the coin toss, and quickly outnumbered Rhazgul on the pitch 11 to 9, as the first opposing block was an amazing quad skulls, and the poor Chaos Warrior who fell was quickly fouled out of the game. Buck then grabbed the ball and began a slow drive up the left flank. Rhazgul was reduced further by a second casualty and a pair of knockouts in the process, although young Slasher was ejected for a foul that was apparently a little too close the to the sidelines and easily spotted.

Buck galloped in the first touchdown of the game with a few seconds to spare, Rhazgul lined up for a few punches in the last moments of the first half, but to no real effect.

The second half started with SlaughterHouse kicking, but again up by a player, this time 10 to 9. However, a kick right to the LOS combined with a botched block by a rookie Chaos Warrior led to SlaughterHouse recovering the ball and caging protectively around Buck once again.

This time things didn’t go quite as well, and SlaughterHouse was slowly pounded back, step by step. However, the stupidity of Pexor the Mighty, the Rhazgul troll, proved to be the gamebreaker, as he failed 3 out of 4 Really Stupid rolls, including a critical block on Buck himself, who had stepped in to lend Sluggo an assist in blocking the Troll, a block with which Sluggo failed to budge the slobbering monster.

But with the troll standing in the SlaughterHouse pack, trying to locate the goblin he had been meaning to eat, Buck made good his escape across the pitch, and the SlaugherHouse Chaos Warriors closed around the only opposing beastman with any chance to reach him, the rookie Baphomet.

Baphomet managed to elude the warriors and close to within range, but Max Carnage took him down, and with the clock ticking its last few moments, Buck pump-faked twice and whipped the ball high into the air, with it coming down nearly in the opposing end zone and far beyond the reach of the nearest Rhazgul player, cementing the win at 1-0.

Surviving the last few moments of vengeful Rhazgul hits, SlaughterHouse were too busy celebrating their miraculous trip to the XFL Chaos finals – until shortly after the match when the head coach reminded them who they were playing in said finals match. Following this news, the whole team got very quiet. They all sat sullenly in the locker room for several minutes, until the battered Buck got to his feet and declared, “Well boys, did you want to live forever! We’re going out with a bang! Now let’s all go fill out those Last Will & Testaments that Gerbil’s Avengers’ head coach sent us!”

YEE-HAWWW! :D

Good Game Naama, if we survive maybe we’ll see you in Fumbbl Cup!
