“For a while it looked like my Soviets could win this easily. But then the fans took that hidden catapult and started to "throw rocks". I think they fired a BIG rocks, cos nearly at every kickoff one of my player got injured. I lost on counts, but there were 2 or 3 bh's and 1 si from the rocks.
It's nice to see devoted fans, but... ;)
Anyway, the game could have been closer, but I ran out of players. And those delfs were quite nasty, causing 5 casualties.
But it was a fun game, and gladly nothing serious happened to my players. It was nice to see that my minotaur is actually a player, instead of drooling animal. He threw some nice blocks, and concentrated on the game for the most part. In the end his animal instincts took over for few turns, but that was acceptable.
I'd like to have a rematch sometime, but this time at MY stadium, in front of MY fans. *grin* ;)”

The delfs tried to level the playing field a bit by a foul on the minotaur but the ref must have had eagle eyes and htere were only 8 elves left.
Jorma refused to give in and unleashed his righteous fury; 3 casualties were left in his bloody wake after the game had ended, 2 teammates added their bit but most of all the fans rioted like mad; 3 rocks were hurled at the Northmen; all 3 injuring players.
In the end he had 3 players left and there was little he could do but hope for a bad streak on my behalf.
Never happened.
Good game and glad they all turned out to be BH (SI was thrown rock)
The only gripe (again) were the poor winnings. When do these ladz EVER get more than a 1 or 2 for winnings?
