Nuffle did sort it out eventually, with the apothed ghoul dying near the end of the second half. Though the reload and apoth probably cost me the game: Instead of one of his Dodge ball carriers out all game, a turn or two later my best CW got SI instead, which is a BIG player swing when you've only got 8 active.

Still, what did I think, I was going to win a recovery match? :)
