“The clowns challenged us and we accepted. In the end, the joke was on us!

The game started with It wasn't Me and Iron Man, who went to their ST4 Werewolf. My kicker also suffered from his niggling injury. We won the toin coss, but then the Clowns blitzed. Crap.

Despite the blitz, we scored in turn 4, and finished the half 3-0. The victory was almost ours.

Then everything changed in the second half. The players in the KO box refused to keep playing (1, 1, 1, 1, 2, 1), and soon the Clowns started badly hurting everyone. There were at least two times where we could have scored the 4th TD (just needed a 3+), but failed miserably, even with rerolls. The Clowns, on the other hand, had no problems knocking down blodgers even though they did not have block, let alone tackle!

Tied 3-3 with two turns left and our tacklers back, we had a chance to win the game. Alas, the Clowns blitzed for the second time on the weak side and catched the ball. After fighting for the ball, my catcher picked it up and went to throw it as far as possible, but he failed his last dodge and so the Clowns scored the 3-4 in the last turn.

With one turn left and no chance to tie except for injury time, the Clowns blitzed a third time.

Kudos to Symmetrical for not losing faith after trailing 0-3 at halftime, but you have to tell me what sacrifice you offered to Nuffle. It was unbelievable. : )
