Coach MadTias brought his team Glitz Gitz hoping to be another of the many opponents to challenge the 'Saws after their recent run of dismal form. A reasonable audience of 80,000 spectators turned out, expecting to see the Chainsaw nudged ever closer to retirement, and there were bloodthirsty grins all around when it was announced Vader would not be fit for the game. Amid rumours that one of the Glitz Gitz was using illegal drugs, he was surely needed.

There was widespread shock around the Razordome when Vader led out the Chainsaw with an apothecary notably absent from the home side's dugout. Scuffles broke out around the ground as beer was splurted out of mouths, in surprise, and over the heads and in the ears of those in front. It set the scene perfectly.

Unusually Coach MadTias opted to send the kick rather than receive it, but it became clear he knew what he was doing when a perfect defense shuffled to adapt to the right-heavy offensive setup. In response, Scudamore threw the ball to Vader who veered left. The defense reacted again, sending enough players to make it too risky for the several left-positioned orcs to break away. However, the wide play across the pitch was splitting the defense and Prefect and Craze spearheaded taking out the Glitz players stranded on the right. Vader swooped back across the field, threw to Prefect, leaving some of the slower Glitz players way out of position. Vader looked like he meant business, and slammed forward into a blitzer taking him out of the match, and the relentless pressure allowed Kamikaze to run out with the ball, and wind down the clock in a run for the corner.

His slight stalling was fully justified when officials unsurprisingly announced injury time, but the away team were shaken and a lone blitzer fell trying to get into position near the endzone.

Knowing that the chances of a second half equaliser were in the hands of agile blitzer Nezdrug, Craze smashed into him at full speed, ripping an arm and shoulder fully from the orc's now-limp body. Their apothecary dragged the pieces off of the field without even trying to repair this hopeless case. The crowd roared their approval, and the glare in the eyes of the Chainsaw players got even more chilling.

The second half saw the receiving Glitz try to form a cage, but they were quickly surrounded by salivating Chainsaw players. So they tried to release a rather pumped up looking Nozdrag down their left flank. Looking short on ideas, pacey golbin Minsy made a dash to provide cover for the isolated blitzer, only to fall over a tuft of grass roll off the pitch in agony. Vader got back and relingquished Nozdrag of the ball. When Nozdrag stood back up, Vader smashed him back down and ended the ailed blitzer's involvement in the game.

It was now up to the home team to get it and make the scorelines safe. However, the attempted cage had successfully split the 'Saws defense and the pass upfield to novice black orc Ruddock fell short.

Coach MadTias managed to marshall his players up to the ball, but Vader and Craze were still causing injuries and the away side just did not have enough players to protect the ball. A few audacious attempts to retreive it failed, and amid inreased casualties the 'Saws ran into the endzone as the game wound down. In the melee The Thrash introduced Ordgrab to the not-so-subtleties of Blood Bowl by breaking his arm.

On why he was using drugs to enhance his physique, Nozdrag would only comment on how desparate he was to impress the boss. Coach Chainsaw, meanwhile, was delighted with the performance as Vader repaid the Coach's faithful pregame use of the apothecary in a man-of-the-match display.
