Anyway, our dedication to do mean things to his tree screwed up the start a bit. The Ma3, block tree (and some more skills) was simple there to stay.

Both teams did a lot of damage to each other, but the highly trained deliquants were able to triumph on a coin toss after OT. The Phoenix did superbly to score against the head in the first drive, and only a turn 8 pass gave Altdorf a 1-1 at halftime. The Deliquants were pre-occupied with attacking Jebediah Darkoak for most of the first half, but could not put him out (bring matches next time, much simpler).
Neither team scored in a strange 2nd half, the ball spent was in the Altdorf backfield for the entire half after a foolish coach manged to send only two Phoenix players into the Altdorf half on the first turn, this was foolish because tehy took the ball with them. Altdorf could not clear and the pattern was repeated in OT. Eventually Halfbrain Farfire scored but the Phoenix were too few to stop an equaliser after this.
In the end it was probably just as well that the Phoenix lost as they would have been in no shape to contest cup any further. ”
