“Quite a ridiculous game. I thought I was in trouble at the start, when two of my players refused to play (injuries they said ... but who'd believe that from an elf with ST4). I was, however, quite mistaken. Nuffle definately was watching my back, and somehow, I managed to not only hold off their forst touchdown (after a fumbpled pass), but I even managed to work the ball all the way to the end zone bringing me into the lead 1-0 at half time.

At this point, seeing that they actually *were* needed on the field, the three elves we knocked out came right back onto the field. (mine however decided to sit out for a little bit longer with the nigglers). With quite a bit of luck, we managed a second touchdown in around turn 4 of the second half, which was promptly followed up by a 2-turn touchdown by the pro elves. Seeing that the game was going to be close, Theseus grabbed the ball, and kept a good hold of it until the end of the match.

I don't know if I really deserved a win here, but, I guess it sometimes works out that way. Look forward to a rematch ... maybe one where the luck evens out a bit.”
