The game was a first round qualifier for both the lizardmen of the Hand of Sotek and the chaos Antonyms of Order. Chaos opened with the ball and one of their beastmen, Lamp Chop was streaking down the sideline, and was a few paces from paydirt, when Trixolat came barreling forward and pounded Chop. The ball squirted out and both teams fought back and forth for it. It wasn't until right before the half, that a dodgy skink scooped up the ball in front of two chaos players, ran 1/4 length of the pitch, and handed the ball to his teammate, Praxiltoga of the South East Tower. Praxiltoga then sprinted the rest of the way to the endzone to give the Hand the 1-0 lead.

That is how the game ended. At the very end of the second half, when the Hand of Sotek was down to nearly 7 players on the pitch, the beastmen of chaos were galloping toward the Hand's endzone with the ball gripped tightly in one of their hooves. A well timed blitz by a lizardman knocked the ball loose, and as the beastmen retreated to pick up the fallen pigskin, the whistle blew, ending the match.

It was a very long, and mistake ridden game. Both team were unable to pick up the ball all day long. There were numberous injuries, and both teams have players that will miss their second round qualifier. The game also had numerous delays that seemed to steal the momentum from both coaches. Rocks were thrown from fans, a chaos temporal warp was summoned and sucked half the pitch into it before wizards were able to restore the field and players. All in all, both coaches were glad the game finally ended, and are beginning to prepare for their next match.

FWC I Group D Qualifier

I actually scored twice - but due to one of MANY disconnects and reloads this got ignored. It wasn't just the amount of disconnects that was crazy it was also the amount of skulls and similar roleld by both teams; most of the cas I suffered was inflicted upon myself by my own players (MNG skink on a dodge and Saurus on a 2d block against a beastman carrying the ball).

It could have been fun, I'm sure, but I'm guessing both coaches just wanted to get it over with after having spent half the game reloading again and again...

Good luck Doogs, I'll probably need it myself as I'm about to face dwarves with a Saurus and a Skink missing...
