“ For many years these Elves of Hoeth had flocked to see other teams upon the Blood Bowl field. All that changed however where upon hearing that the Blood Bowl league required "fresh meat" Aerth and his companions decided to create their own team and thus the Hellcats were born!

Led onto the field for their first game by Aerth, the Hellcats found themselves facing their hated cousins; the Dark Elves of the Har Ganeth Cruisers! As one would expect no quarter or mercy was shown by either team. The first half showed both teams inexperience with some scrappy play including a lot of fumbling of ball within the Har Ganeth's half. A break however came just before the whistle as Leilandra scooped the ball up and passed it down field for Thaddius to score. Halft time score: Hellcats 0 - 1 Cruisers.

The second half showed much more determined and focused play from the Hellcats, pressuring the Cruisers from the start of the whistle. Initihs eventually came out with the ball after a chaotic battle in the Cruisers half and managed to even the scores. Hellcats 1 - 1 Cruisers.

The final break for the Hellcats came several minutes before the final whistle. Nilaur battered his way through the Cruiser defence and managed to push the Elf carrying the ball over who fumbled the ball as he fell. Through the tangle of bodies the ball fell at the feet of Aerth who made a break for the Cruisers touch down zone, eventually stepping over the line mere seconds before the whistle blew. Final score: Hellcats 2 - 1 Cruisers.

A stunning and suprising - if somewhat unsophisticated - victory for the Hellcats!
