“Hello BB fans and welcome to another Town report
Today the Town welcome the Light of Darkness a Dark Elf team
And there are 55 000 eager fans here today even though it is pouring with rain
So the Light get the game underway but they have missjugded the kick and it is long so a touchback to the Town
And it's Hutchings with the ball and it looks like Firmroots is going to pick him up for an early Flying fling offence and here goes the throw but the rain must have made Hutchings slippy because Firmroots has dropped him and the ball has popped free
And here come the D Elf players to take control of the ball but no the rain is really making things slippy out there the D Elf has dropped it and here comes George picking himself up from the ground and going for the ball but no it pops out of his hands
But whats this as the ball bounces around in centre field Levine has strayed out near the line on the right and he has been pushed into the Light fans who seem to be performing some sort of dark ritual with him and I think I can safely say Levine will not be returning to the BB field unless an undead team is looking for a new player
Oooooh and the hits keep on coming for the Town today Hutchings is down in centre field and the Town Apo is coming onto the field with his trusty magic dessert trolly ..............Yes a quick rub down with a cream bun and Hutchings is up and ready for action although a lot of the other Town players seem to be suffering from injuries now and looking for some attention but the Town Apo has made it off the field and play can resume
The D Elves finally take control of the ball and move it off to the left wing and move it down field with some nice passing and running play and a TD is the result
The D Elves restart the game still in the pouring rain Nagarajan picks up the ball for the Town but no he has let the ball slip again but luckly George is there to take control of the ball
George moves out to the right wing and tries a pass down the line to Kirk but again the wet ball slips from his grasp and the ball bounces free and it is a Light player that reacts first and pounces on the free ball and he passes across field but I don't know what was in that cream bun that Hutchings had but he just flew thru the air and picked off an interception
But Hutchings looks more surprised than anyone and he has been caught in possesion of the ball and the ball has been knocked free
Again the D Elves react quicker but they don't seem able to get hold of the ball and now here comes Firmroots trying to make some space around the ball but no he has slipped and down he goes
And so the ball bounces back and forth between the D Elves and the Town players eventually it is a Light player who grabs the ball and runs in for a TD and that was the last play of the first half
So the second half gets underway with the Town kicking off the D Elves pick up the ball deep in their own half on the right side of the field and using some exquisite passing they move across field and bear down on the Town's line but here comes Hutchings chasing down the D Elf ball carrier he hits him and pushes him towards the side line but can't get the ball to pop free and the Light player strolls in for a TD
And with the D Elves restarting the game the sun breaks thru the cloads
Hutchings picks up the ball from the kick off he is playing well above his normal level today and the D Elves have taken a note of this because that was a hard tackle on him and he is not moving and as the ball rolls from his lifeless fingers George is the first to react but his eyes are on the body of Hutchings rather than the ball and he fumbles the pick up the D Elves pick up the ball and run in another TD
And so it is with great sadness that only 5 Town players are fit to take the field for the restart and the Light players seem to have a plan as they reorganise themselves for the kick off
And it's George who takes control of the ball and he moves to centre field and hands the ball off to Firmroots and the big Treeman sets of down field but he just tries to hard to make some extra distance and he falls over his own roots
Again it is the D Elf players who react to the dropped ball first and pick it up and move it down field but here comes George with a blitz and he looks fired up for this one .......Ooooooooh what a hit by the little guy the ball has popped free but George cannot take control of it
Now the D Elves look mad and they try and block George out of the way but that has gone horribly wrong and it's the Light player who ends up on the ground
So Nagarajan moves in and carmly scoops up the ball and hands it off to Keating but here comes the D Elves for a blitz again but the sunshine must be really putting them off now because when the dust clears it is the Light player on the floor again and Keating can run in to score a TD
And so with only seconds remaining on the clock the Town kick off but as the ball is kicked a rock flies out from the Light of Darkness fans and knocks Longbranch to the floor and so the final whistle goes
A few final notices the memorial feast for Levine and Hutchings will take place after the post match feast has finished
