“Hello sports fans and welcome to another Town report
Today the Town take on the Orcs of Green N Meanish and I can report that we have perfect BB weather for the 66000 screaming fans we have here today and here come the teams onto the pitch and we have a new face in the Town ranks Bilggins Curlytoe takes to the field in the sticky bun smeared colours of Mootfield Town
And it's the Orcs to kick off and Longbranch trows a block on the line of scrimage and he made that one count the Orc Apo is having to come onto the field he seems to have pulled some sort of animal bone totem out of his black bag and is now doing a little dance but it seems to have worked as the Green player is back on his feet
Now on with the play the Town move the ball forward and it looks like they are going for an early Fliying fling offence Firmroots picks up the ball carrying Kay and goes to hurl him down field but he slips out of the mighty Treemans grip and lands with a thump at the Treemans feet but Blake is the first to react and claims the loose ball and now the Orcs react and hit Blake before he can get rid of the ball and it pops loose again but again it's the Town players who react first and now Lee has the ball and he goes to hand it off to George but George still has his eyes on the Orc players charging towards him and he drops the ball again
This time the Orcs are first to the ball and scoop it up and start to move downfield
And now Firmroots tries to show he can move as well as block by chasing after the ball carrying Orc but he gets his roots in a twist and down he goes......TIMBER but no he has managed to bounce back up and he is off again after the Green player with the ball but it is just too much for the young Treeman and down he goes again.........IT'S LIKE A LUMBERJACK CONVENTION OUT THERE TODAY............and with that slip the Orcs move in and score a TD
So the Town set up to recieve the kick off and it's Nagarajan who picks up the ball deep in the Towns own half he moves forward down field he looks like he is trying to reach Kay to try for a last minute Flying fling finish to the half but he goes down just short of the hand off and there goes the hooter for half time
So out come the teams for the second half and it's the Town to kick off but thr Greens have guessed where the ball is going and they are moving very fast for the restart and Ooooooh Nagarajan has taken a viciuos block out on the left wing and here comes the Town Apo with the trusty dessert trolly again and yes he is getting out the cream buns and Nagarajan gets unsteadly to his feet but it looks like he will be able to play on
Now with the field cleared the play can go on and the Orcs pick up the ball Firmroots lines himself up for a block in the centre but he makes a real mess of that and down he goes again and with the Treeman on the floor again the Green N Meanish run in another TD
And so the Orcs kick off but this time it is the Town who react fastest and they are moving towards the ball even before it lands
George is the first Town player to the ball and he scoops it up and moves towards the line of scrimage and he goes for the hand off to Kay but they have made a mistake and the ball pops free but again George drops on the ball and gets the hand off to Kay this time now Firmroots grabs hold of Kay it looks like a last minute try for a Flying fling TD and their goes Kay flying thru the air clutching the ball but he can't make the landing and he goes down and the ball flys free the Orcs grab the free ball but don't have enough time to move it downfield before the final hooter goes to end the match
