A tough outing this one. The opening Blitz against the run of play was a royal pain in the arse, leading to the opening TD and put me on the back foot quickly. The lads got aggressive from that point and did manage to get a good player advantage during the 2nd drive, but failed to do anything impressive with the knuckle dusters from that point on for the entire match which was extremely disappointing considering the kind of blockers the team are supposed to be!

We had ample opportunity to put the Duke down for keeps but failed to break armour on the initial roll so many times!

I did over commit on a few plays which probably cost me the match in the end, but I was fairly frustrated so I'm not surprised. Still, a lot of the dice ran against the odds for me and proved to be the ultimate downfall.

With 3 games left of the season, BMU are now in serious trouble and may well be relegated unless we can come back with a few screamers!

A blocking machine combined with scoring one of the two TDs that sealed the game for Carlton, it's very hard to go past this player!

This bastard is slippery as an eel and in his own way provided great openings for the rest of his team to exploit. With the Carlton apoth tied up from early in the match, I really went after this legend of the pitch with Gusto and not only did the distraction help Carlton get across the line easier, the bugger escaped several attempts on his life unscathed!

1 Vote - #12 Jake Fluttery
Why? Because he threw a nice handful of blocks and the commentators saw fit to make him the Most Valuable Player for the Carlton team today - and who am I to argue!?!?!?!?

Cheers to Twahn for the game and listening to my whines. I hate nuffle and make no effort to hide it ;)

TWAHNLOW VOTES

This guy's a champion most of the time, but tonight he was really buzzing. Very effective blocking effort from the big little guy!

2 Votes - #5 Luran Angerfall
Blackmountain's chief ball carrier, he scored their only touchdown and ran up an impressive tally of rushing yards.

1 Vote - #3 Hurgan Coppersmith
A great lineholding effort from the sturdy dwarf. Got himself a Casualty too. Fine effort.
