“The Boyz consider themselves to be very lucky to escape this match with a win after a riot on their opening drive in the first half took three quarters of the period (6 turns) to quell. The Boyz decided to play defensive rather than risk a turnover to the agile Gutter Runners on the opposing team and the scores were 0-0 at the half time break.

In the second half, the Goodness threw the ball from their backfield towards the line of scrimmage and tried to consolidate for a strong push. The Boyz surrounded them and threatened to crush the Skaven cage/box but a risky play by the Goodness (one dice blitz without Block skill) opened up a gap and the Goodness ran deep into Boyz territory with the ball.

The Boyz required a desperate defensive play to stop the score, and managed to know the ball out of bounds where the crowd threw it back into the Boyz backfield.

Both teams had players near the ball, and a tense struggle ensued. But the Boyz had too many players after knocking out on opponent, and sending another out of bounds earlier and eventually they won the ball and scored.

I was certain I was going to lose that game when after 3 turns? in the second half all my rerolls were gone and he still had his two Gutter Runners around. A bit of luck my way and I managed to steal a win.

However, for the second game in a row (first one not this team) I lost a FF after winning. Grrrrrrrrrrrr. But MVP went to a Lino with 2 SPP and he now has Block so it aint all bad.”
