Replacement of Lamber the battle-scarred, Deckard is also an experienced Blitzer coming out of retirment. Grizzled and gruff, Deckard intends to show the rest of the team how to play. Deckard is a particularly cool-headed individual and is adept at lending a hand to a teammate even when under pressure. This is something quite foreign to the Middenheim Bruisers who are far too busy watching their own back during a scrum! However Deckard the Experienced wants to at least end his career passing on this skill to future generations and so far it has proven invaluable. So much so that even Viktor, after much drilling and intense training, has adopted this "Guard" skill.

Despite his remarkable efforts, Deckard the Experienced finally ended his career against a Wood Elf team, Les champions d'Ariel. Towards the end of the match, Deckard was struck by an Elven lineman, Billy Whitehammer, which ended his career with a smashed collar bone. He promptly retired himself from the team but he at least can now rest in the knowledge he taught the team the importance of guarding one another.
