Yableeden was awarded the honour of wearing the Rok Hedsmasha armour after securing a franchise record sprint at conference level, and achieving his legendary skill level during season 21 of the Human League. He went on to lead the Sons to the Premiership title that same season, completing the first ever Human League double.
Yableeden had great timing on the pitch, able to anticipate a tackle attempt and hit the smallest of gaps with speed. He knew how and when to hit the ball carrier for maximum effect, and could capitalise on the smallest of mistakes.
A pair of injuries that never healed properly saw him a step slower and a fraction more vulnerable to further injury, however he had the potential to continue playing. Instead Leav retired a champion at the peak of his achievements, once again showing the timing and judgement that saw him contribute so much to the franchise's legacy.
