Hordak, of She-Ra, Princess of Power, is a Commander in the army of the Horde's Empire. His first great mission was the conquest of planet Eternia. Hordak failed because he only used his advanced technology against a planet that combined advanced technology and powerful magic. He tried to solve this problem by making the black sorceror Skeletor his second-in-command. But Skeletor betrayed him and Hordak was forced to leave Eternia for good. As a form of revenge he abducted Eternia's baby princess Adora. He would raise the girl as his own. His next assignment was the conquest of planet Etheria. This time he was mostly successful. Using his army and their advanced weaponry, the black magic of his new second-in-command Shadow Weaver, and the strategical skills of the grown up Adora, he was ready to crush the last Rebelion when Adora changed sides and herself became the leader of this Rebellion. Hordak hates both Skeletor and Adora for their treasons against him and has many times unsuccessfully tried to destroy them. Unlike Skeletor, Hordak is extremely cruel, has no mercy for anybody, loses his temper and good sense very easily, and has no magical abilities.
