Although at any given time there is only one Harbinger of the Master, if the daemon is slain the title never remains vacant for long, for from the swirling Warp realm beyond the Mirror immediately another one rises. It is said that this new creature retains all memories and knowledge of his previous incarnation, but the capabilities of the spirit are increased and modelled after the task the Hall is currently pursuing.
