Robert was hurt in all of his first five games when he started to play for the Commandos. He was deemed as a jinxed player, even as a sort of failure. Then on his sixth game robert completed two passes, and has been on a rising ever since. In his ninth game against dark elf team Chop Suey Shanxi he scored both of commandos touchdowns, giving them the 2-2 tie. Showing promise at last, Chaline was promoted to lieteunant.
In a game vs Ghoul Wood Nightstalkers, a vampire team, Monsieur Chaline showed more than promise. He single handedly decapacitated three opponents, one of which was a Vampire. That Vampire Robert maimed so badly that even their famous skill of regeneration couldn´t help the poor creature. After the game, when he was being promoted to Captain, Robert´s comment was simple "Never forget the garlic and silver from your gloves and knuckle protectors."
For enduring a fifty game series of a harsh and dangerous bloodbowl players life. Monsieur Chaline is being promoted to Major. He has come a long way from that young and uncertain 2nd lieteunant that he was before. Now he is one of the true elite players of the Commandos.
The usually short, but brutal blood bowl players life took it's toll for Robert Chaline after a game against Commandos old favourite, one of the true rivalries Flachpfeifens 4th try rat team. He made two important casualties as the commandos got their second ever win against the rats, making the games two victories each. His promotion to Lt. Colonel is only hindered by the fact that he has suffered from so many concussions that he just can't sustain hits like before.
After the death of famous Commandos captain Bert Stevens, and surpassing Will Whitings former cas-record of Commandos, Robert Chaline was assigned to a team captain. Also with this came the promotion to a full colonel, which means that monsieur Chaline is now the first ever Commando to achieve that rank.
After sixty-two games Robert Chaline was honourably discharged, and appointed along with the fellow defensive specialist into the teams coaching staff. Now this Commandos former Super-Star teaches the younger generation to play the fantastic game of Blood Bowl and to bring glory for the humies.
