After 112 games, 5 Completions, 16 Touchdowns, an interception, 75 Casualties, 5 MVP awards and 230 Star Player points, Wiznutz's body lies forgotten on the pitch, his head turned to a bloody wet paste by the spiked boot of a Chaos Warrior. Despite the screams of the fans, the referee took no notice of "another dead goblin".
In their rage at losing their star, Bitz of Green's fans launched themselves at the opposing Chaos supporters. The resulting carnage left 14,000 goblins dead at the stadium, and a further 256,000,000 fatalities during a subsequent (and unwise) invasion of the Chaos Wastes.
Fortunately for the Blood Bowl community, no-one outside the team really cared. As the referee said, "the day you take note of a goblin corpse on the pitch, is the day you volunteer to play yourself."
Wiznutz's life will be forgotten in days (perhaps hours) but his tally of 75 casualties will likely stand for a while. In the meantime, one of the worthy trophies on the Throne of Skulls is slightly smaller than the others...
