Gared Halfelf comes from a strange family. Word is that they are distantly related to the Qvickfåtes, but it is hard to know. The Half-elves are generally a name for human bastard children with elven appearance.
But even so the Qvickfåtes have had some dealings with humans... Of the kind that the more noble elves rarely speak. However Gared joined with the Qvickfåtes somehow and he was actually one of the people who was in the stealing of the Artifact that got the family banished. As a reward he got to play Blood Bowl.
After being able to survive more games than the coach thought possible Gared is now a wannabe catcher when there are no others left.
