After the Gitz were thrashed in their 13th game, they were in need of a new player. Balti, one of the team's few remaining fans at the stadium as the final whistle went, was closest to the bench, so was roped in. He'd never played Bloodbowl before, though coach Shigglez figured he couldn't play much worse than the current crop of players...

He didn't last long... getting a smashed knee in the Gitz' first encounter with amazons, and retiring soon afterwards.
