This is the fourteen-year-old novice with father Ambrosius, the pitiable novice of the chapel. Studying, cleaning, running all kinds of silly errands, serving Ambrosius, reading to Ambrosius (who wont read after dusk, he thinks Theodore's eyes are better suited), kindling the fires for Ambrosius (whose old bones tend to get cold) ... its not very funny being "Tiny Theodore", as the soldiers like to call this fragile being.
Theodore was thrilled with the idea of playing ball games instead of reading stupid old books ... until he discovered he has to go up against all kinds of monsters. Now he just runs like hell and prays to see the next day.

Prays and prays ... obviously Someone answers - through divine intervention Theodore after just two games suddenly was much stronger. Who knows, maybe he'll stay alive just a little bit longer?
