On a team full of mutated monsters, trolls, debt-dodgers and demonic Scottish terriers Marmalade sticks out like a sore thumb and that's obviously saying something. Marmalade "Sunshine" is a bright, perky, uber-positive high elf. Her sunny disposition and never ending positivity is somehow well received by both her mutant peers on the team and by the Mavericks fans.
The only thing people would begrudge her is her terrible clumsiness.
Some commentators have likened her agility and ball handling to that of a wounded beached whale, not a bad metaphor.
But, Marmie doesn't let that stop her from doing her best out there every game and that's what her teammates and fans love about her!
