Farashir used to be a pansy little wood elf playing (with himself mostly) on the Sentry coached team, the Dravian Rangers. That was, at least until he met Braineater, the leaping Ghoul, of AshBane. Braineater did just that, ate Farashir's brain, which wasnt much of a meal after all. With his head finally clear, Farashir realized that in order to further his career as a Bloodbowl player, he needed to join a real team.
