Disappointment hangs over Andy like a shroud, in the grand hierarchy of The Lads he sits just below skill-less linemen in the order of importance. He rarely, if ever sees the pitch due to the coach realizing that his previous position in a defensive drive, could just have easily been filled by a lineman, and that his ideal roll on the offensive drive, is filled by his vastly superior counterpart Nigel.
Now he languishes in the dugout box existing only as the backup thrower in the case that worse comes to worse and Nigel is taken off the pitch. Which wouldn't be so bad, if the coach didn't hold him in utter contempt for his seeming inability to pick up the ball, let alone throw it and would move heaven and earth to ensure Nigel stays on the pitch over Andy coming on it.
