Björn Speichellecker began his life as thrall working in Herrin Karla's household as cleaning thrall. After a fight with fellow thrall over the affections of one of the feamle thralls in which he broke the other thrall's nose Björn was given a place on the team and the other thrall was made to become Björn's kit-man. Since becoming a player Björn has proven himself adapt at leading the Lightening's line.
