Few creatures can out drink a pirate but dwarves are one of them. Gromgist earned the respect of the rest of the Bootleggers by being the only one left standing in a drinking contest with Mak "Barrelgulper", who although three times his size was not able to keep up and eventually passed out for three straight days. Gromgist is also one of only three known dwarves to be able to drink more than one brew at a time from Barak Firewater.
