Adopted by Kondor

Malena Sormsail hails from a fishing village along the eastern coast. She left home at the age of ten at her mother’s behest to join the Convent of Sigmar. She took to the teachings and upon finishing her studies turned to teaching in the convent. Her knack for meeting out discipline and the unexpected death of the head mistress allowed her to claim the title of Mistress despite her youth. She would have lived her life and died in that convent had not Chaos intervened.

One clear spring day, a Slaanesh raiding party came ashore and pillaged the village. The convent was sacked despite the defense nuns charged to defend it. Malena and a hand full of her most valiant sisters were carried away captive. In order to survive, Malena utilized her innate talents. She studied the ways of Slaanesh and shockingly found a deeper calling than she ever had at the convent.

Despite her stature as a slave, her masters saw her devotion and talent. On the day her shackles were removed, she was given her chance to earn Armor of Slaanesh by joining the raid on another fishing village. Her task was to lead the attack on the nearby Monastery of Sigmar. Against her former brothers of the cloth she showed no quarter. The monastery was raised to the ground.
Today she finds joy on the Blood Bowl pitch. She is still called Mistress Malena, but her days as a nun are all but forgotten.

Adaptation to Blood Bowl came easily for Malena. In her debut game, she was chosen as MVP as she successfully knocked a pair of humans out of the game.

In her second game she was the clear star of the match when she killed a dark elf lineman and seriously injured the runner. She had been studying her craft in off hours by scrying on the local dwarf team. The result was shockingly improved blocking ability. The rookie elf never saw the blow coming until it collapsed his trachea. Unfortunately, despite her efforts the team tasted it's first defeat.

When she returned to the inn she was bitter. Defeat did not sit well. In the end she determined that the problem was the goats. They lacked muscle and martial prowess. What this team needed was someone who could both pick up the ball and hold onto it.

This time she turned her scryer to an elf squad. She watched replay after replay and carefully watched their footwork. A minotaur would charge in only to have the nimble player avoid his clutches. She saw that their best defense was to avoid the blow entirely. Certainly, it would be a difficult maneuver in Chaos Armor but she believed it could be done.

Over the next few months she worked diligently to avoid blows rather than absorbing and then countering them. In the sixth game of the season she had an opportunity to show the skills she had been working on when the team faced Nagarythe Lions. At the end of the match she found herself with the ball and a chance to score the winning TD. This combined with a short pass she threw may even have convinced the coach that she should carry the rock more often.

The victory felt good and Mistress Malena relished the glory she brought to Slaanesh on this day. Tomorrow she would work to be more sure handed with the ball, but today there was a degree of satisfaction.

Malena is seeking to become the AllTime Top Scoring CW!!
Malena knelt on the wood elf catcher pummeling him into submission. A few more swings and she would be certain this particular twig would not return for the next kick off. She raised her gauntlet for a final blow to send him on to the immortal realm only to hear the whistle sound signaling the end of the half. She nearly let her fist fall despite the whistle but out of the corner of her eye she saw the referee looking intently at her.

She shot the ref a flirtatious smile but his scowl showed he was no Slaanesh devotee. With a sigh she got to her feet only to notice something strange. The unconscious elf held firmly to her ankle. Or that is what it seemed to be. Further analysis revealed that the limp wrist was actually stuck to her boot. She tried to shake free but it in the end she was forced to remove the glove from the prone elf in order to step away.

She kept that glove and inspected it after the match. It revealed the truth about elven ball handling. Sure they are agile, but the substance on the glove is what kept catchers from dropping the ball. Over the next few weeks, Malena sought for substance in various markets and bazaars. Finally, a greedy Halfling revealed the secret. It was sap from the nether regions of a treeman.

Upon learning the truth of the matter she chuckled. She had never contemplated that area of tree-beings, but it seemed fitting that for the glory of Slannesh she would go exploring. Without the slightest hesitation, she headed for the woods looking for the largest treeman she could find. What happened in the encounter shall not be discussed, but she has secured a constant supply of treeman sap.

Four days later, BAM again faced a band of elves. The encounter ended in a draw, but Malena proved her ability to handle the ball. The sap made it impossible to dislodge the ball without dragging her to the ground. As a result she was able to put a pair of TDs on the board.

A turning point had been reached. Today a Slaanesh Star was born.

Game 33:
Malena now has two heads and much more.

--------------------------------

For the second time in the match, Malena stood in the end zone pounding her chest and screaming at Slaanesh. It was risky to draw the attention of any deity and Slannesh was no exception. Still, the young Chaos Warrior knew that her god did not reward humility. The God of Hedonism normally reveled in the flamboyant.

“For Slaanesh I stand in glorious triumph. Today I call you to strike me down or touch me with your mark. When the sun sets tomorrow either I will be marked as one of your chosen or I will never wear your armor again.”

There was no lightening. The heavens were silent. Only the crowd continued to shout the praise of Slaanesh triumphant.

Malena retired to her chosen hammock in the woods resigned to the fact that she had played her last game of Blood Bowl.

Yet, Slaanesh had heard her blasphemy and decided to reward and punish the upstart warrior. Near dawn a malformed ogress limped from the woods and dumped a pail of violet ooze on the slumbering blood bowl star.

Malena bolted upright and began to shriek as torment wracked her body.

The ogress chanted. “Chosen of Slaanesh be no longer of two minds but quasi dual bodied.”

Bones popped. Flesh stretched. Bulges grew. Malena's spine forked and her shoulders widened. The new fork in her spine pushed upward until it ruptured the flesh then grew until a second skull facing backwards was evident. Sinews and veins crawled up to cover the bones until muscles and finally skin covered a head identical to Malena's original.

Meanwhile, as the head grew, Malena's body also grew. From chest to back, her torso widened to house a second rib cage attached to the original spine. Within the new ribs grew lungs, stomach, liver, kidneys and all other organs save a heart. Malena's heart however nearly doubled in size in order to provide blood to the additional body parts.

Hours passed until at last the pain subsided and most of the mutation seemed to have been completed. Only then did the new vocal cords utter their first words. “For Sigmar and his GLORY!!!”

The words pained the former Sister of Sigmar and she fell to her knees in shock.

The Ogress hooted in glee and gave the only direction Malena would receive. “Sigmar is purged from you. Follower of Slaanesh, you control your legs, and arms, but the last of your significant devotion to Sigmar has been pulled away but will always be with you as a reminder of what you no longer are.”

The growth of her body had been so drastic as to rip the tunic she had been wearing. After discarding the rag, she found a mirror in her trunk to observe the transformation. What she found was where her back had been a nearly full twin had emerged Head, breasts, navel and more all in duplicate grew from her back.

She was unsure how this change would work out but one thing was certain. Before the next match she would need to get a new suit of armor.
