Game One: Greenpoint Rats.
After striving all his life to hit the big time, Vago Elfteaser started his own team just for the chance to shine. And shine he did, like a nova: brief and glorious. He rushed 6 yards to score a touchdown in his very first game, only to trip and kill himself with a go for it to get the ball and score again before the end of the first half.
Tragedy. But such is bloodbowl. His teammates play on to honour his memory and toast his name by drinking their bloodweiser from the Skull of Vigo.
