The Hundham Horror used to be a man. Twenty years ago, when he was still alive, he was a kindly hedge wizard in the Sylvanian town of Hundham. He ran a small store selling charms, potions and helping out by dispelling minor curses. Noone knows how the Black Amulet came into his possession, but it transformed him into what he is today. The amulet increased his arcane prowess immensely, but it also whispered dark things to him, slowly twisting his mind as it taught him ways to become even more powerful.

When the first townspeople went missing noone suspected the kindly old man, but as his behavior became more and more erratic he eventually found himself under investigation. When the town guards raided his shop they found the remains of the missing townspeople in the cellar, having been offered as grisly sacrifices to the Black Amulet. The shop was demolished and and the Hundham Horror, as he had come to be called, was burned at the stake the same evening. The amulet was never destroyed however, and the Hundham Horror haunted the abandoned streets around his ruined shop for many years, preying on the poor souls mad or desperate enough to venture into his territory.

As the Bleakwood Haunters travelled through Hundham coach Drache felt the amulet calling to him, and dug it up from the ruins of the old magic shop. With it Drache is able to bind the Hundham Horror to his will, putting its murderous rage to use on the Blood Bowl field.


The Hundham Horrors reign of terror ended during a friendly game against elemental team Still Waters Run Deep. As he leapt through the air to assault the opposing teams ball carrier he suddenly imploded, to the great surprise of everyone watching (Lich-Coach Drache most of all)! Drache believes that the implosion was the result of a disharmonic oscillation in the Black Amulet caused by the crossing of the Horrors necromantic energies with the elemental energies of the Still Waters Run Deep players. The Dark Amulet is now dormant, looking for a new host to dominate.

In related news, the townspeople of Hundham are celebrating the event and the mayor has declared this day to henceforth be a day of festivities and remembrance.



Personal goal:
-Kill 5 players, to sate the hunger of the Black Amulet FAILED (but the Black Amulet can wait, it WILL have its hunger sated in due time...)
