Well after the dismantle of the Kaos horde, Furão didnt get any reason for continue playing.... the team was already new and that knee was killing him, so he decided retirement.
He stayed as coach anyway.
For the record....he played 60 games in 61 of the team and the niggle he got was from ageing in the last skill only. U can all imagine how many times was he on the floor with somebody's boots on his chest...but spikes really helped a lot.
